It has brought me years of pleasure being on display but it's time to find a new home. I was privileged to have known JDF. The first time I got to meet JDF and the cast I was about ten, as seen in the photos. I will not provide any details on connections. The helmet is in very good shape for as long as I've had it.
It has a couple of spots of paint chips along the top seam which is very common. If someone wants to touch it up I leave that to you. This is an Aniki helmet which I was very appreciative JDF signed.Getting hands on any actual prop has always been next to impossible, and for good reasons. Aniki somehow sourced a legitimate mold in which these were cast, it's the closest you'll get to the real thing. If you would like anymore photos or information please don't hesitate to ask.
If this applies to you, please contact me BEFORE any purchasing is done. I understand the price being asked is hefty, but this is my holy grail of nostalgia that I'm parting with. There will never be another JDF and anything relating to him should demand a premium. He was a premium type of individual and will be missed by many.
